1984 (Spion-Buch)

In the novel "Nineteen Eighty-Four" Eric Arthur Blair, alias George Orwell, draws his dystopia from the surveillance state 70 years ago – with the number turner 1948/1984.
In 1971 Timm updates Ulrich Orwell's book with the installation of a door spy and thus anticipates the transfer of the surveillance monopoly into the private-sector oligopoly of our time.
